KahlWax 6279L Myrica is derived from berry fruit peels of the Myrica Pubescens tree native in Latin America. The wax is very unique as it has no double bounds and is rather a naturally “hydrogenated” oil but solid. Due to its chemical structure it is very stable against oxidation. Very untypical is the low melting point combined with an exceptional hardness which results in excellent spreadability. KahlWax 6279L Myrica reduces stickiness of O/W emulsions and oleogels, stabilizes stick preparations, and has excellent properties for hair styling products. In combination with fatty alcohols it can also be used in hair conditioners.

KahlWax 2811 Rice is a pale hull wax generated as by-product of the preparation of rice bran oil. A unique milling, extraction, and refining process results in edible oil, side-products, and crude wax. The latter is used for the production of rice bran wax which mainly consists of esters of C16-C24 fatty acids and higher alcohols (C26-C32). KahlWax 2811 Rice forms soft, matte oleogels with a pleasant texture suitable for lipstick, mascara, and hair styling wax. O/W emulsions with this wax have absolutely no sticky skin feel and show an excellent consistency.
