Cosphaderm® Dicapo is a cost-efficient multifunctional blend of caprylyl glycol, dipropylene glycol and glyceryl caprylate. Caprylyl glycol is an emollient with Humectant abilities as well as skin and hair conditioning properties. Glyceryl caprylate is a highly pure monoester of glycerine and caprylic acid. Beside its main action as emollient and emulsifier, it has moisturizing, wetting and refatting properties. Dipropylene glycol keeps the other two components in solution for an easy application. In addition to all these functions, a mild but efficient antimicrobial property is shared by all three substances. Taken together, the blend has moisturizing and emollient properties while offering comprehensive antimicrobial protection over a broad pH-range in a wide variety of formulations.

Cosphaderm® TOM is a 100% natural multifunctional, comprising pentylene glycol, glyceryl caprylate and glyceryl undecylenate. It is a liquid, easy-to-apply, colorless and nearly odorless blend with emollient and Humectant properties, suitable for a variety of cosmetic formulations. Cosphaderm TOM shows excellent broadband antimicrobial activity, which is further enhanced by a synergistic effect of its three components. The synergy results in a significant improvement of antimicrobial, and especially antifungal activity, when compared to the single ingredients. At the same time, pentylene glycol reduces the potential for emulsion destabilization caused by the glyceryl esters.

Cosphaderm® Dicapo natural is a cost-efficient, multifunctional blend based on natural and COSMOS-approved caprylyl glycol in combination with glyceryl caprylate and propanediol. Caprylyl glycol is an emollient with Humectant abilities as well as skin and hair conditioning properties. Glyceryl caprylate is an emollient and co-emulsifier with moisturizing, wetting and refatting properties. Propanediol keeps the other two components in solution for ease of application and contributes Humectant and emollient properties to the blend. All three substances additionally have a mild but efficient antimicrobial character. Taken together, the blend has moisturizing and emollient properties while offering comprehensive antimicrobial protection over a broad pH-range in a wide variety of formulations.

Cosphaderm LAAS is an aqueous mixture of levulinic acid, p-anisic acid and glycerin. Established as a highly effective combination of natural antimicrobial agents, additional skin conditioning and masking properties are provided by levulinic acid and p-anisic acid. Furthermore, the glycerin content in this preparation helps to support the hydration of the outer layer of the skin. The optimal pH range for Cosphaderm LAAS is between 5.0 and 5.5 to keep antimicrobial activity and solubility in perfect balance. This makes it a perfect choice for formulations at skin pH.
