The addition of ethylhexylglycerin affects the interfacial tension at the cell membrane of microorganisms, improving the preservative activity of phenoxyethanol.

EUXYL™ K 701 PRESERVATIVE is a mix of aromatic alcohol, organic acid and glycerin derivate. It has strong broad spectrum efficacy, which is ideal in surfactant systems. It has vapor phase activity. It is fully effective in anionic, cationic and nonionic systems. Prohibited in aerosol dispensers. Effective pH <6 Max temperature 80ºC.
