Cosphaderm Magnolia Extract 98 is pure powdered extract of the bark of Magnolia Officinalis with a minimal content of 98% magnolol and honokiol in a ration of approx 1 to1. It inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi pH independently. It has a very strong effect against caries and periodontitis, acts anti-inflammatory and is a highly effective anti-again agent and a strong antioxidant.

Cosphaderm® Absolute is an innovative humectant active blend which improves skin barrier function while simultaneously reducing the water activity of cosmetic formulations. With the three established humectants sodium lactate, betaine and propanediol in optimally balanced concentrations, Cosphaderm Absolute ensures excellent skin hydration. Additionally, lowering water activity and thus limiting water availability to microorganisms allows a reduction of the antimicrobials required for preservation. Thus, the natural blend combines skin barrier-enhancing properties with a unique antimicrobial mode of action, offering the possibility of an innovative, alternative preservation strategy that meets market needs and current trends in the cosmetics industry.

Cosphaderm® VBE is a skin-warming active ingredient synthetically derived from vanillin and reminiscent of its characteristic scent. The unique warming effect with a fast onset and a long-lasting sensation is mechanically similar but less irritating than capsaicin. This effect, which is directly linked to vasodilation, as well as its ability to increase local blood flow, makes Cosphaderm® VBE a great alternative to capsaicin in many personal care applications from head to toe.

Cosphaderm® Sodium Hyaluronate is the sodium salt of medium molecular weight hyaluronic acid produced by all-natural fermentation and physical purification processes. In human tissue, hyaluronic acid is an essential part of the extracellular matrix. It binds water and serves as a natural humectant and anti-aging ingredient for the skin, guaranteeing its elasticity and moisture retention. Due to its medium molecular weight of approximately 1500 to 1800 kDa, Cosphaderm Sodium Hyaluronate has wrinkle filling, viscosity increasing and anti-inflammatory properties. It cannot penetrate deeper skin layers but minimizes the appearance of wrinkles by forming a moisturizing film on the skin surface for an instant anti-aging effect.
