COSPHADERM ZINC LACTATE natural is the zinc salt of lactic acid and is used in oral care products and deodorants to fight malodours. It can also be used as multifunctional ingredient for skin care and cleansing products. The benefits of COSPHADERM ZINC LACTATE natural are completed by the strong antimicrobial efficacy against a broad spectrum of microorganisms.

Cosphagard® Exact is a blend of the preservative Phenoxyethanol with Ethylhexylglycerin. It displays a broad antimicrobial efficacy spectrum against bacteria, yeasts and molds. The clear fluid blend is pH-independent and temperature-stable.

Cosphagard® Pol is a cost-efficient mixture of Potassium Sorbate and the naturally derived multifunctional sodium levulinate. The blend can be used to replace controversially discussed Preservatives like parabens, MIT, triclosan, formaldehyde separators etc. without losing strong antimicrobial effectiveness against bacteria, yeasts and molds. A further advantage is that this blend is COSMOS-approved and also complies with further international certification labels. It can be used for any cosmetic formulation type except purely oil-based formulations. For full efficiency the pH value of the final product should ideally be 5.5.

Cosphaderm LAAS is an aqueous mixture of levulinic acid, p-anisic acid and glycerin. Established as a highly effective combination of natural antimicrobial agents, additional skin conditioning and masking properties are provided by levulinic acid and p-anisic acid. Furthermore, the glycerin content in this preparation helps to support the hydration of the outer layer of the skin. The optimal pH range for Cosphaderm LAAS is between 5.0 and 5.5 to keep antimicrobial activity and solubility in perfect balance. This makes it a perfect choice for formulations at skin pH.
