Its antioxidant property protects the Langerhans cells against damage from pollution and provides overall cellular protection.  It is highly hydrophilic and protects the skin from dehydration due to environmental exposure with long-term moisturizing ability. It has excellent anti-inflammatory effect, repairs and reinforces broken skin barrier, and prevents DNA damage from UV and visible light.

SENSIVA™ SC 80 MULTIFUNCTIONAL is a liquid multifunctional ingredient for personal care products. Besides efficient antimicrobial efficacy in broad pH range with especially strong fungicidal efficacy it provides additional skin benefits contributing to well-ageing and healthy looking skin. It has strong antioxidant capacities and inhibits enzymes helping to shield collagen and hyaluronan.
