SURFADONE™ LP-300 WETTING AGENT is sparingly soluble in water (0.002 weight percent) and soluble in most organic solvents. It is a low-foaming, nonionic surfactant with an HLB of 3 and has no critical micelle concentration (CMC). Like its lower homolog, Surfadone™ LP-300 wetting agent interacts with anionic surfactants, forming mixed micelles, which greatly enhances its solubility, resulting in a synergistic surface tension reduction and wetting enhancement. Appropriate combinations of Surfadone™ LP-300 wetting agent and anionic surfactants produce viscous solutions and gels.

EFFISIN MP is fully effective both in anionic as well as cationic systems. It is proved to have good chemical compatibility with anionic surfactants such as sulphates, ether sulphates and sulphosuccinates, as well as with non-ionogenic surfactants. Ethoxylated surfactants may lead to loss of effectiveness. Effective pH < 8 Max temperature 80ºC.

STEPANTEX SP-90 is a cationic surfactant for use in household and institutional fabric softeners and textile softening additives. It provides good softening, antistatic and rewetting properties. This product meets the U.S. EPA Safer Choice Program’s surfactant screen and is listed on www.cleangredients.org.

STEPAN-MILD® SL3-BA is a mild cleansing agent. It can be formulated into shampoos, handsoaps, baby shampoos, bubble baths, cleansing products, creams and lotions. Additionally, it can be used in the manufacture of latexes.
