It contains a minimum total amount of 67.1% d-alpha-tocopherol, equivalent to 1000 IU/g of vitamin E. D-alpha-tocopherol is the most effective form of vitamin E naturally present in the skin. Due to ultraviolet radiation, levels of vitamin E decrease towards the skin surface, making the skin vulnerable to oxidative stress.
