Cosphaderm® Octiol natural is a pure and colorless glycol. It is used as a moisturizer and Humectant for both skin care and hair care formulations. Static light scattering experiments have shown that Cosphaderm Octiol natural can also be used to stabilize o/w emulsions by droplet size reduction. Another property of caprylyl glycol is its pH-independent antimicrobial activity. It further shows remarkable synergistic effects in combination with other antimicrobial substances, making it possible to minimize the total amount of combined preserving agents.

Cosphaderm® Dicapo is a cost-efficient multifunctional blend of caprylyl glycol, dipropylene glycol and glyceryl caprylate. Caprylyl glycol is an emollient with Humectant abilities as well as skin and hair conditioning properties. Glyceryl caprylate is a highly pure monoester of glycerine and caprylic acid. Beside its main action as emollient and emulsifier, it has moisturizing, wetting and refatting properties. Dipropylene glycol keeps the other two components in solution for an easy application. In addition to all these functions, a mild but efficient antimicrobial property is shared by all three substances. Taken together, the blend has moisturizing and emollient properties while offering comprehensive antimicrobial protection over a broad pH-range in a wide variety of formulations.

Cosphaderm® Sodium Hyaluronate is the sodium salt of medium molecular weight hyaluronic acid produced by all-natural fermentation and physical purification processes. In human tissue, hyaluronic acid is an essential part of the extracellular matrix. It binds water and serves as a natural humectant and anti-aging ingredient for the skin, guaranteeing its elasticity and moisture retention. Due to its medium molecular weight of approximately 1500 to 1800 kDa, Cosphaderm Sodium Hyaluronate has wrinkle filling, viscosity increasing and anti-inflammatory properties. It cannot penetrate deeper skin layers but minimizes the appearance of wrinkles by forming a moisturizing film on the skin surface for an instant anti-aging effect.

Cosphaderm® Sodium Hyaluronate low is the sodium salt of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid produced by all-natural fermentation and physical purification processes. In human tissue, hyaluronic acid is an essential part of the extracellular matrix. It binds water and serves as a natural humectant and anti-aging ingredient for the skin, guaranteeing its elasticity and moisture retention. Due to its low molecular weight of less than 50 kDa, Cosphaderm Sodium Hyaluronate low can penetrate deeper into the skin for a long lasting moisturizing and anti-aging effect. With regular use, its ability to connect to skin keratin results in reduction of wrinkle depth, long-term humidification and increased skin elasticity.
