Vitamin A-Palmitate 1.0 Mio IU/G is a yellow, viscous oil stabilized with Tocopherol, designed for nutritional applications. It contains 1.00 to 1.10 million IU/g of Vitamin A. The product meets the European Pharmacopoeia, USP, and FCC III standards. It has a peroxide value ≤ 10 meq/kg, is free from heavy metals, and is stabilized with up to 2% Tocopherol. Suitable for a wide range of health and dietary uses.

VITAMIN A-PALMITATE 1.7 MIO IU/G Viscous, yellow oil at room temperature. At the recommended storage temperatures, some of the vitamin A-Palmitate may crystallize.

DL-alpha-tocopherol is used as an antioxidant to increase the stability of fats (oils, margarine, baking and frying fats, fish oil) and fatty products (readymade desserts containing cream, soup powders, cocoa, dietetic and frozen products, potato crisps, essences and chewing gum) and to protect vitamin A and carotene in oils and other food products. Regular quantities are between 200 and 500mg/kg of fat; up to 1,000 mg/kg is used in essences and chewing gum. By adding tocopherol, the shelf life of meat products sensitive to oxidation (particularly pork and turkey) can be improved. The acetate is more stable and, therefore, preferred for fortifying food products with vitamin E.
