TOWREX® ASMS200 is an internal antistatic agent developed for bi-axially oriented BOPP film. It can eliminate quickly electrostatic charges in the surface of the BOPP film by high absorption of the moisture and increase of the conductivity. It is primarily used as an antistatic agent in BOPP film for lamination use.
Deuteron LE 292 is an anti-static additive based on a novel esterquat. It is available as a 90% solution in Isopropanol. In contrast to anti-static additives based on TAA salts. Deuteron LE 292 has a significantly lower toxicity and it’s active content is 100% biodegradable (according to OECD). The content of renewable raw materials is approx. 70%.
Compared to TAAS-based conductivity promoters, Deuteron LE 292 is not water soluble – this can prove advantageous in the case of wash-out effects.
Deuteron LE 292 can be used in polyurethane foams, casting resins, floor coatings or printing inks to impart anti-static effects.
