DOWSIL™ TREFIL F-202 has excellent flowability and is easy to measure, work with, and disperse, which have been the drawbacks of conventional fluids. It can be used as surface modifier for thermoplastics to reduce coefficient of friction and to increase scratch and mar resistance. WALOCEL™ MKS 10000 PF 60 modified hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) is designed for cement-based applications, such as skim coats, repair mortars and tile adhesives. WALOCEL™ MKX 25000 PF 25 L Cellulose Ether was developed for cement-based applications, like cement-based tile adhesives and essential for the successful formulation of the cementitious parts of an External Thermal Insulating System. It imparts well-balanced properties, e.g. open time, slip resistance, adhesion and shear strength according to different storage conditions, providing a good impact resistance. It also imparts good workability and enhances water retention. The selected particle size distribution helps to achieve quick or lump free dissolution.
