CURING AGENT HC68 is a composed salt of cyclic-amidine and multi-acid. It utilizes the two different reaction rates of group in molecular structure, and during the curing process, it generates nonuniform shrinkage then forms the matt surface. It has both gloss decreasing and curing functions.

LUNA-MER B68-LC is a salt of a polycarboxylic acid and is a cyclic amidine. LUNA-MER B68-LC is a hardener to produce matt to dead matt pure epoxy and epoxy polyester Powder Coating. Cured films based on this hardener offer excellent flow and mechanical properties. Variations between matt and dead-matt gloss can be obtained by suitable adjustment of the formulation. Epoxy polyester coatings with matt or dead-matt gloss may be achieved by replacing a portion of the polyester with an equivalent quantity of Luna-mer B68-LC.
