Deuteron MM 100 and MM 110 are preparations of very fine PMU (Polymethyl urea) particles dispersed in DPGDA (dipropylene glycol diacrylate). The products are developed as matting agents especially for thin layer UV curable coatings and inks.
for thin layer UV curable coatings and inks.
Depending on the addition level Deuteron MM 100 and MM 110 can be used as matting agents with comparatively high mechanical resistance for high quality applications.
Deuteron MM 100 has an active content of 17% and contains no additives. Deuteron MM 110 has 25% active content, contains a wetting agent and has a very low viscosity.
Deuteron LE 50 UV is a variant of Deuteron LE 100 LV, diluted in 50 % DPGDA. Even in small amounts it considerably reduces the surface and volume resistances. Deuteron LE 50 UV is soluble in all conventional solvent mixtures used in the coating industry, partially with some slight clouding.
Deuteron LE 292 is an anti-static additive based on a novel esterquat. It is available as a 90% solution in Isopropanol. In contrast to anti-static additives based on TAA salts. Deuteron LE 292 has a significantly lower toxicity and it’s active content is 100% biodegradable (according to OECD). The content of renewable raw materials is approx. 70%.
Compared to TAAS-based conductivity promoters, Deuteron LE 292 is not water soluble – this can prove advantageous in the case of wash-out effects.
Deuteron LE 292 can be used in polyurethane foams, casting resins, floor coatings or printing inks to impart anti-static effects.
