LEVONORGESTREL is a synthetic progesterone that is used for emergency contraception. Levonorgestrel is also used alone and in combination with estrogens in conventional oral contraceptives. Use of levonorgestrel for emergency contraception has not been associated with serum enzyme elevations or clinically apparent liver injury with jaundice.

MONOPOTASSIUM PHOSPHATE EP/NF is used to treat or prevent hypophosphatemia (low blood levels of phosphorus). It is used to prevent calcium kidney stones. It is also used to decrease the amount of ammonia in urine, thereby reducing odor and skin irritation caused by high-ammonia urine. Also used for oral electrolyte products for the treatment of horses in exercise.

MORANTEL TARTRATE Morantel is an antiparasitic active ingredient used in veterinary medicine. It is used in horses and livestock against internal parasites (mainly roundworms). It is not used against agricultural and household pests. It belongs to the chemical class of the tetrahydropyrimidines. Morantel is a narrow-spectrum anthelmintic effective against gastrointestinal roundworms but not against those in the lungs or elsewhere in the host's body. It is also effective against certain tapeworms as well. It is ineffective against flukes (e.g. Fasciola hepatica) or external parasites.

PERMETHRIN Technical (25:75 ; 40:60) is an insecticide; it is a synthetic pyrethroid and neurotoxin. Permethrin affects the neuronal membrane by blocking the movement of sodium ions from outside to inside the neuronal cell membrane thereby disrupting the sodium channel current that regulates the polarization of the membrane. This leads to delayed repolarization and subsequent paralysis of the nervous system. Permethrin is used to eradicate parasites such as head lice, ticks and scabies from humans and animals.
