BTC® 885

N-Octyl Decyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride

BTC® 885 is a highly active, broad spectrum quaternary which is extremely effective in hard water. It can be formulated into a wide variety of disinfectant, sanitizer and fungicidal products for use in nursing homes, hospitals and public institutions. It has a color APHA of 200 maximum.

Onyxide 3300

This product is a registered biocide that is unlike the typical n-alkyl Dimethyl Benzyl Ammonium Chloride (ADBAC) due to its unique saccharinate counterion. Has very limited water solubility (<0.01%) but larger quantities can be solubilized in water with the addition of other surfactants, or any of several solvents (alcohols, glycols, or glycol ethers). Severe metal corrosivity associated with the chloride counterion in traditional biocides, can be avoided with the use of ONYXIDE 3300.

When formulated in biocide products, it provides full spectrum of efficacy, safe handling, good biodegradability, and good compatibility with hard water and other surfactants.
