EASTMAN™ CHDM-D is symmetrical & high molecular weight cycloaliphatic glycol used to make saturated and unsaturated polyester resins. EASTMAN™ CHDM-D offers the great benefits of being an excellent corrosion resistance in fiberglass-reinforced plastics, excellent hardness with some flexibility, good heat resistance, and electrical properties, high crystallinity, high glass transition temperature relative to linear aliphatic glycols & highly reactive hydroxyl groups.

EASTMAN™ 1.4-CHDA HP is a cycloaliphatic diacid offering many unique performance properties to polyester resins for coatings and fiberglass-reinforced plastics. It is also ideally suited to improving the performance of waterborne, high solids, powder coatings, and coil coating applications. EASTMAN™ 1.4-CHDA HP brings properties ideally suited for high-performance applications in automotive, transportation, industrial maintenance, aerospace, architecture, appliance, general metal coatings, and gel coats. CHDA is a mixture of cis and trans isomers. EASTMAN™ 1.4-CHDA HP offers the great benefits of reducing the “orange peel” in powder coatings, excellent thermal stability for low resin colour, high solubility in molten glycols & improved corrosion, stain, chemical, and detergent resistance.

EASTMAN CA-398-3 FOOD CONTACT is one of the lower viscosity solution grades of cellulose acetate. The average ASTM viscosity of EASTMAN CA-398-3 FOOD CONTACT is 3 seconds. EASTMAN CA-398-3 FOOD CONTACT is supplied in the form of a fine, dry, free-flowing powder. EASTMAN CA-398-3 FOOD CONTACT can offer a multipurpose rheology enhancer that provides high strength and good resistance to ultraviolet light, heat, oils, and greases. Useful in lacquers for glass, plastic, wire, and release coatings. It may be blended with appropriate solvents, plasticizers, and other modifying resins to formulate coatings for paper, glass, plastic, wire screen, and electrical wiring. When dissolved in appropriate solvents selected for EASTMAN CA-398-3 FOOD CONTACT, a clear, colourless solution is produced.

EASTMAN™ CAP 381-0.1 is a is a low molecular weight cellulose acetate butyrate polymer with medium butyryl content and low viscosity, appears in a dry and free flowing powder. EASTMAN™ CAP 381-0.1 offering a high tolerability on using solvent blends, made from natural renewable resources, also is designed for use where low-application viscosities at relatively high solids levels are needed. EASTMAN™ CAP 381-0.1 is suitable to use in automotive coatings, printing Inks, wood coatings, metal coatings, industrial maintenance, consumer electronic, architectural coating, imaging film and a wide range of applications.
