COSPHADERM ZINC LACTATE natural is the zinc salt of lactic acid and is used in oral care products and deodorants to fight malodours. It can also be used as multifunctional ingredient for skin care and cleansing products. COSPHADERM SB-75H is a fractionated and hydrogenated, de-oiled soybean lecithin in powdered shape (PC content min 70 %). The hydrogenation of double bonds in the fatty acids results in a higher stability towards destructive oxidation and much better emulsifying and dispersion properties in aqueous media compared to common fractionated lecithin.

Cosphaderm® Hexiol is a pure, transparent and colorless glycol. Two vicinal OH-groups and a short carbon chain allow unlimited water-solubility. This property is strongly relevant to its most common cosmetic use as a moisturizer and humectant for both skin care and hair care formulations. Static light scattering experiments have shown that Cosphaderm® Hexiol can also be used to stabilize o/w emulsions by droplet size reduction. Another core property of 1,2-hexanediol is its pH-independent antimicrobial activity. It further shows remarkable synergistic effects in combination with other antimicrobial substances, making it possible to minimize the total amount of combined preserving agents.

Cosphaderm® pAS natural is a plant-derived anisic acid with multifunctional properties. Due to its very gentle and pleasant scent, Cosphaderm pAS natural can be used as a masking agent to cover undesired odour from other ingredients. Another function of anisic acid is the strong antimicrobial efficacy at pH values below 6.0, especially against yeasts and molds.
