CHROMA-CHEM® 897 colorants are the next generation of high strength, low VOC colorants designed for use in a wide variety of waterbased industrial coatings. The colorants are exceptional for universal tinting of water-based industrial coatings. The pigments specifically chosen for the CHROMA-CHEM® 897 line provide broader color space, excellent durability, light fastness, chemical resistance. All colorants are APE free. CHROMA-CHEM® 897 colorants can be used for both volumetric dispensing and inplant tinting. They feature best-in-class quality for color retention, dispensability, consistency, and film property retention in a wide range of aqueous chemistries. The pigments in the colorants were chosen to provide a wide range of shades. Durability, lightfastness and chemical resistance are dependent on the chemistry of the base coating, substrate and application conditions. It is recommended that the colorants be tested in the actual conditions of use to verify the suitability of the product.

COLORMATCH® EDC-70411

COLORMATCH® EDC-70411 The EDC Series colorants have been formulated for use in epoxy coatings. These colorants are formulated with epoxy resin and diluent to have improved handling properties. The rheology of these colorants tends to be somewhat viscous, but lower than straight epoxy systems. The EDC Series pigment dispersions for epoxy applications consist of organic and inorganic pigments milled in a bisphenol A epoxy resin with a diluent commonly used in epoxy systems. The dispersing resin and diluent used in each colorant formulation was chosen to ensure broad compatibility in most epoxy coatings.

COLORTREND® 877-2553

COLORTREND® 877 color dispersions are high-strength, pourable color pastes recommended for in-plant tinting of emulsion and water-based paints. All colorants have a 6 minimum fineness of grind (Hegman gauge) which makes COLORTREND® 877 dispersions exceptionally suitable for the tinting of latex paints. They can alsobe used for the economical formulation of deep accent paints, thus avoiding the grinding of dry pigment. COLORTREND® 877 dispersions contain a broad color spectrum, selected to satisfy all the tinting needs of the manufacturer and contractor.
