Polylysine 25% solution is a natural polymer of L-Lysine, an essential amino acid produced by fermentation of bacteria. It can be used alone or in combination with other preservatives. It is not compatible with anionic surfactants. Effective pH 5-8.

Static light scattering experiments have shown that Cosphaderm® Hexiol can also be used to stabilize o/w emulsions by droplet size reduction. Another core property of 1,2-hexanediol is its pH-independent antimicrobial activity.
