ALTOR 201 POLYASPARTIC ESTER

Altor® 201 polyaspartic ester is a fast reacting, low-color, solvent-free, amine-functional co-reactant for polyisocyanates. Altor® 201 polyaspartic ester was developed for high-solids, two-component polyurethane and urea coatings. The Altor® products can be applied direct to metal as one-coat solutions in environments with low to moderate protection needs. For extreme environments, the polyaspartic coating can act as the intermediate and topcoat in one layer, increasing productivity and reducing operation costs. Altor® 200 or Altor® 202 products can be blended with Altor® 201 polyaspartic ester to obtain customized work and dry time characteristics when formulating high-solids polyurea topcoats. For polyaspartic products, humidity and substrate moisture control is crucial as water accelerates curing.
