Excess water reacts with Luna PTSI-P towards the corresponding carbamic acid, which undergoes immediate decomposition to form carbon dioxide and the relatively inert p- toluenesulfonamide, which is commonly used as a plasticizer.

Luna-vin VMCC/A-W is a medium molecular weight carboxyl functional terpolymer comprised of vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and maleic acid. Luna-vin VMCC/A-W shows excellent adhesion to vinyls, metals, concrete and cellulosic substrates. Due to its low molecular weight, Luna-vin VMCC/A-W provides formulations with low viscosities and high solids.
