NICOMENTHYL®20 (Menthyl nicotinate) is a new multifunctional, sensorial cosmetic ingredient. Liposoluble and thermostable. Skin microcirculation enhancer. Detoxifying, antioxidant, anti-age. Protecting against UV radiation, Blue light, WIFI, toxins, pollutants, and other external harmful factors. Full-scale in vitro and in vivo studies have demonstrated Menthyl nicotinate’s fast penetration kinetics through the skin, and its subsequent hydrolysis effectively releases pure niacin (vitamin B3) with a consequent significant increase of NAD levels in skin cells (NAD-booster effect). NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) plays key roles not only in all major biological processes concerning electron transport chain and energy metabolism, but also those involving immune response and repairing DNA damage due to oxidative stress. Nicomenthyl 20 does not cause any flush, irritation, or sensitization, even in cosmetic compositions containing it at concentrations up to 3-5%. Its time-release delivery of niacin is 3 to 8 times higher than the skin absorption rate of the common niacinamide. Such characteristics qualify Nicomenthyl 20 as a powerful, effective, safe percutaneous carrier of Vitamin B3.

Eastman GEM™ retinyl sunflowerate is a pro-retinol derivative composed of retinol and sunflower fatty acids. It is a biobased, formulation-stable, easy-to-handle, nonirritating antiaging ingredient. Retinyl sunflowerate is manufactured using Eastman’s EPA award–winning GEM technology, which applies the 12 Design Principles of Green Chemistry. At room temperature, it is a pourable liquid and supplied as a high-purity (>95%) assay; therefore, it is free of carriers. Eastman GEM retinyl sunflowerate is made from sunflower seed oil that contains >70% healthy unsaturated fatty acids.

VITASYNOL® C is an antioxidant based on a stable and oil-soluble derivative of Vitamin C. VitaSynol C has the properties of being a true precursor of Vitamin C, the release of which provides skin benefits through ROS scavenging such as correcting and preventing intrinsic & extrinsic aging reducing UV induced pigmentation. With improved stability against heat and oxidation compared to Ascorbic Acid, it is easy to formulate across multiple formulation types.

Galacid Excel 88 is a high L(+) and natural lactic acid produced by fermentation. It is a transparent, syrupy and hygroscopic liquid that is a nearly odorless and has a mild acidic taste. Galacid Excel 88 has a total acidity (as lactic acid) of 87.5 – 88.5, and a stereochemical purity of min. 97. Lactic Acid is a bacteriostatic agent usually used to prevent the growth of microorganisms. This product is Kosher and Halal compliant, suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and GRAS.
