HALOX® FLASH-X® 150 is used in the manufacture of water-base protective coatings as an effective liquid additive for inhibition of flash rust and in-can rusting. Testing has shown that HALOX® FLASH-X® 150 is highly effective at relatively low loading levels as compared to other flash and in-can rust inhibitors. HALOX® FLASH-X® 150 has demonstrated excellent flash rust inhibitive performance on various metal substrates ranging from iron, steel, and galvanized iron to galvalume and zincalume. Evaluations have shown HALOX® FLASH-X® 150 to be effective for inhibiting in-can rusting in lined and unlined metal containers. HALOX® FLASH-X® 150 is compatible with a variety of latices without causing film sensitivity or package stability problems that can occur with other flash rust additives. HALOX® FLASH-X® 150 is also an effective additive for stabilizing metal substrates when using the water-blasting method of surface restoration. HALOX® FLASH-X® 150 is easy to use and can be incorporated at any stage of coating manufacture. HALOX® FLASH-X® 150 can also be easily and effectively post added to any coating system; however, as with any additive, compatibility should be checked prior to use.

HALOX® CW-2230 is white, nonrefractive, corrosion inhibiting pigments used in protective coating systems. They are not recommended for use in immersion or semi-immersion environments. HALOX® CW-2230 has the highest borate content and can be effectively formulated into such resins as medium and long-oil alkyds, epoxy-esters and modified alkyd systems. HALOX® CW-2230 is compliant to ASTM D 4288-83, Specification for Calcium Borosilicate Pigment Type 2. HALOX® CW-2230 recommended loading levels range from 9-15% based on total formula weight with PVC levels ranging from 42-47%.

HALOX® SW-111 is a white, nonrefractive, corrosion inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. HALOX® SW-111 is recommended for use in most water-borne and solvent-borne epoxies. HALOX® SW-111 can be formulated into most water reducible resin systems and corrosion resistant caulks and sealants.

Luna-vin VAGH-W is widely used for coatings, maintenance coatings, marine paint, wood surface paint, paper coatings, metal decorative paint, container paint, aluminum plated film paint, PVC/steel adhesive and tape adhesive. Luna-vin VAGH-W is a hydroxyl modified Vinyl-chloride and vinyl acetate copolymer. It has good compatibility with alkyd resin, PU elastomer, epoxy polymer, melamine resin, and urea. It can improve coating properties, strengthen coating adhesion, hardness, flexibility, and chemical resistance. It can also provide crosslinking reaction for thermo-setting coating systems, to improve water resistance and chemical resistance.
