Luna-vin HMVA-W is a hydroxyl-functional terpolymer comprised of vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and hydroxyalkyl acrylate. It can be used to formulate both clear and pigmented coatings, for use on a variety of substrates including metal, wood, paper, plastic and fabric. Luna-vin HMVA-W can also be used in adhesives and gravure printing inks.
Luna EEP is a white transparent liquid. Luna EEP is a slow evaporation ether-ester urethane grade solvent with excellent activity for a wide range of coating formulations. Its linear structure and the propionyl group in the centre of the molecule give this material an outstanding solvent performance as high solvent activity, slow evaporation rates, exceptional flow and leveling, as well as a high electrical resistance.
Luna-pal A81HM is a versatile polyaldehyde resin condensated from urea aliphatic aldehydes – which can be used in a variety of ink and coating applications. Luna-pal A81HM offers wide compatibility and helps to improve gloss and hardness. Its low viscosity and excellent pigment wetting allow the manufacture of pigment pastes at high pigment loading. It's pale colour ensures minimal interference, while its impressive heat resistance maintains coating integrity under challenging conditions. And as it exhibits relatively low solvent retention, it won’t unnecessarily slow the drying time of air-dry products. Luna-pal A81HM is soluble in alcohols, esters, ketones and both aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons.
