ITACUR 50XB is an epoxyaminic adduct in a xylene and butanol solution deriving from the reaction between ethylenediamine and a solid epoxy resin. It is used as a hardener at room temperature for solvent epoxy systems generating system having excellent features of chemical and mechanical resistance and exhibiting a very shiny, defect-free surface as the adduct reduces the adverse effects of atmospheric humidity and carbon dioxide during the hardening reaction. ITACUR 50XB further exhibits an acceptable hardening time even at very low temperatures (5°C).
