Luna PTSI is used in the formulation of polyurethane products as a reactive additive with low viscosity. Luna PTSI prevents moisture related problems by reacting with trace moisture. Excess water reacts with Luna PTSI towards the corresponding carbamic acid, which undergoes immediate decomposition to form carbon dioxide and the relatively inert p- toluenesulfonamide, which is commonly used as a plasticizer. PURANOL F330 is colorless liquid, soluble in theanole and other organic solbents, thermal stability, low functrioality, high molecular weight, molecular chain flesibility, low primary hydroxyl content, week reaction activity.
