EASTMAN OPTIFILM™ ENHANCER 300 is a biodegradable, efficient, low odor, low toxicity coalescent for latexpaints. Its broad compatibility, easy incorporation, and excellent hydrolytic stability allow its use in a wide range oflatex types. Using EASTMAN OPTIFILM™ ENHANCER 300 reduces formulated cost by allowing substantial reductions in associative thickeners. A greater than 25% reduction in associative thickener levels can be obtained without compromising rheology characteristics.

EASTMAN TEXANOL™ ESTER ALCOHOL is a premier coalescent for latex paints. It performs well in all types of latexpaints, in a variety of weather conditions, and over substrates with different levels of porosity. EASTMAN TEXANOL™ ESTER ALCOHOL provides the highest level of film integrity at low levels of coalescence, enhancing the performance properties of the paint including low-temperature coalescence, touch-up, scrub resistance, washability, colour development, thermal flexibility, and resistance to mud cracking. EASTMAN TEXANOL™ ESTER ALCOHOL also enhances thickening efficiency when used with associative thickeners.

EASTMAN™ OPTIFILM ENHANCER 400 is an efficient coalescent that aids in the development of latex paints that have a good balance of performance properties. EASTMAN™ OPTIFILM ENHANCER 400 delivers excellent film integrity, touch-up properties, and scrub resistance, even at the lowest VOC demands. Paints prepared with EASTMAN™ OPTIFILM ENHANCER 400 have also demonstrated good exterior durability after one year of exposure.
