MANGANESE GLUCONATE USP is a manganese salt of gluconic acid. Manganese gluconate is a direct ingredient in food substances as a nutrient supplement. In pharmaceutical preparations it is used as a supplement.

NICOTINAMIDE (VITAMIN B3) BP is found in food and used as a dietary supplement and medication. As a supplement, it is used by mouth to prevent and treat pellagra (niacin deficiency). While nicotinic acid (niacin) may be used for this purpose, nicotinamide has the benefit of not causing skin flushing.  Nicotinamide is the active form of vitamin B3 which in cream form is used to treat acne.

COPPER GLUCONATE is a copper salt of D-gluconic acid that displays a light blue to bluish-green color. It is prepared by the reaction of gluconic acid solutions with cupric oxide or basic cupric carbonate. According to the good manufacturing or feeding practice by the FDA, copper gluconate is used as a nutrient or dietary supplement and is generally recognized as safe for use at a level not exceeding 0.005 percent. Copper Gluconate can be used as a dietary supplement and as a nutrient. Copper aids in the absorption of iron, in the formation of red blood cells and the proper bone formation and maintenance.

MAGNESIUM OXIDE EXTRA LIGHT EP/BP is used as an alkaline diluent in solid-dosage forms to modify the pH of tablets. It can be added to solid-dosage forms to bind excess water and keep the granulation dry. In combination with silica, magnesium oxide can be used as an auxiliary glidant. It is also used as a food additive and as an antacid, either alone or in conjunction with aluminum hydroxide. Magnesium oxide is additionally used as an osmotic laxative and a magnesium supplement to treat deficiency states.
