MAIZE STARCH POWDER BP is one of the most reliable excipients produced from white maize (corn). Excellent excipient as binder and filler for tablets and capsules. It participates in Maillard’s reaction in presence of proteins.

DEXTROSE MONOHYDRATE BP (ORAL GRADE) is widely used to adjust tonicity and as a sweetening agent. It is also used as a wet granulation diluent and binder. Although dextrose is comparable to as a tablet diluent to lactose , tablets produced with dextrose mono require more lubrication, are less friable, and have a tendency to harden. The mildly reducing properties of the dextrose may be used when tableting to improve the stability of active materials that are sensitive to oxidation. Dextrose is also used therapeutically and it is preferred source of carbohydrate in parenteral nutrition regimens.

SORBITOL POWDER DC 200 mesh is a direct compressible sorbitol powder and is a sugar alcohol (polyol) which provides properties as a filler, filler/binder and as a bulk sweetener. It is used in wet granulation and direct compression also used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industry as a sweetener or humectant for protection against loss of moisture content. It is found commonly in "sugar-free" chewing gum, and may be used to sweeten pharmaceutical dosage forms such as syrups or chewable tablets. Sorbitol is about two-thirds as sweet as glucose. It has a lower calorie content than glucose and may be used in diabetic foods.

SODIUM STARCH GLYCOLATE (TYPE A) USP/JP/NF/EP is used as a pharmaceutical grade dissolution excipient for tablets and capsules. Sodium starch glycolate absorbs water rapidly, resulting in swelling which leads to rapid disintegration of tablets and granules. It is used as a disintegrant, a suspending agent and as a gelling agent.
