HALOX® 580 is a sustainable, ultra-low VOC (<0.5%), bio-based liquid corrosion inhibitor designed for protection of water-based, solvent-based, high solids, 100% solids paints, direct-to-metal (DTM) coatings. It is suitable for thin-film coatings, 1K acrylic emulsions, 2K epoxies, water reducible alkyds, 2K polyurethanes, alkyds, urethane alkyds, etc. With 50% bio-content, HALOX® 580 provides a cost-effective, environmentally friendly solution for corrosion protection while maintaining formulation flexibility, as it can be post-added or incorporated during the letdown phase.
HALOX® 580 is a clean-label inhibitor, free from heavy metals, APEO, and HAPS, making it non-hazardous for shipping and transportation, ultimately reducing costs and regulatory concerns. Engineered for both waterborne and solvent-borne paints, HALOX® 580 enhances adhesion and water resistance, minimizing osmotic blistering while maintaining good shelf stability. Its organophosphate and bio-based solvent carrier provides a synergistic boost to traditional anticorrosive pigments, improving overall coating performance. Non-flammable and with minimal gloss impact, it is an ideal choice for high-solids primers, topcoats, and eco-label-compliant coatings across various resin systems, including acrylic, epoxy, urethane, and alkyds.
HALOX® 680 is an organic ion exchange inhibitor designed as a smart corrosion inhibitor that is released on demand to enhance coating performance. It is a cost-competitive, zero-VOC, fine-milled powder that acts as a synergist with other anticorrosive pigments such as Zinc Phosphate, Z-PLEX 111, SZP-391, and HALOX® 430. By integrating into the organic matrix, HALOX® 680 improves coating adhesion and reduces cathodic delamination (undercutting at the scribe). Additionally, it can be post-added to most solvent-based paints for formulation flexibility.
Compatible with solvent-borne, high solids, and powder coatings, HALOX® 680 is also suitable for water-borne coatings with proper pH adjustment due to its acidic nature. It enables reduced Zinc Phosphate loadings in anticorrosive primers while maintaining effectiveness. With non-flammable properties, it is ideal for solvent-borne primers, DTM alkyds, epoxies, urethanes, high solids and 100% solids epoxies, powder coatings, and coil coatings. It can also be formulated into semi-gloss paints, water-borne epoxies, and acrylics.
HALOX® 350 is a more active 97-100% solids organic corrosion inhibitor designed to stop flash rust, and in-can corrosion, and provide temporary corrosion protection. HALOX® 350 is an effective replacement for toxic nitrite-based flash rust inhibitors.
HALOX® 630 is a liquid organic corrosion inhibitor for solvent based protective coatings on metal surfaces. HALOX® 630 may use in solvent-borne clear or pigmented coatings.
HALOX® 515 is a liquid organic corrosion inhibitor for high gloss (direct to metal) coating systems. HALOX® 515 offers the great benefits of providing cost-effective flash rust protections and long-term corrosion protection when used as recommended. Also improved adhesion at the scribe and good humidity resistance. HALOX® 515 is heavy metal free, nitrite-free, and contains no chromates or phosphates. HALOX® 515 can easily and effectively be post added or added in the letdown stage of any coating system.
HALOX® 550 is an inorganic-organic hybrid corrosion inhibitor to protect water-based and solvent-based coatings. HALOX® 550 is offering multiple advantages as listed. Thin-film applications (<10 µm), easy to disperse, post-addable, reduces white rust on galvanized, reduces black rust on Galvalume™, increases hydrophobicity, improves anti-fingerprint, no effect on gloss, compatible with water and solvent-based coatings, reduces silver, aluminium oxidation, high temp stable, non-flammable, pH stable, low freeze point. HALOX® 550 is suitable for the applications of clear coats, direct-to-metal, latex primers, coatings, acrylic emulsions, water-dispersible alkyds, and alkyd emulsions, polyesters, epoxy, urethane, and high gloss coatings.
HALOX® 550 WF is a water-free (WF) sol-gel-based corrosion inhibitor/adhesion promoter for the protection of water-based and solvent-based clear coats, glossy direct-to-metal coatings, thin-film coatings, acrylic emulsions, polyurethanes, epoxies, alkyds, water-reducible alkyds, PVB wash primers, and polyester resins. Suitable for low pH and acid-catalyzed systems.
HALOX® 570 is an organic corrosion inhibitor designed for use in water-based industrial and decorative coatings to provide flash rust and long-term corrosion protection on metal surfaces. HALOX® 570 is especially effective along weld seams and in some cases, can also be used in solvent-based coatings and in UV cured systems. HALOX® 570 can be used in both water-based primers and direct-to-metal topcoats. In direct-to-metal coatings, HALOX® 570 has minimal effect on gloss reduction.
HALOX® 650 is an organic corrosion inhibitor primarily designed for coatings and primers on metal surfaces. HALOX® 650 is specifically designed for use in solvent-borne or powder-coating applications to provide long-term corrosion protection. HALOX® 650 is suitable for the application of coil coatings resins such as thermoplastic acrylics or epoxies, powder coatings systems such as polyester/TGIC, acid-catalyzed thermosetting systems such as melamine or urea-formaldehyde, and wash (etch) primers based on PVB.
HALOX® BW-100 is a white, nonrefractive, tannin stain inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. HALOX® BW-100 has been specifically designed as a tannin stain inhibitor providing performance and compatibility in a variety of resin systems such as acrylic latexes, vinyl acrylic latexes, and styrenated acrylic latexes, and solvent-based alkyds.
HALOX® SZP-391 is a white, nonrefractive, corrosion inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. HALOX® SZP-391 is the most efficient and versatile corrosion inhibitive pigment. HALOX® SZP-391 is recommended for use in a wide variety of resin systems. HALOX® SZP-391 is equally effective in such resins as alkyds (both traditional and high solids), epoxies, latexes, water-reducible alkyds, and high acid value resins, catalyzed baking systems, and vinylidene chloride latexes.
HALOX® SZP-391 JM is a white, non-refractive, corrosion inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. HALOX® SZP-391 JM is our most efficient and versatile corrosion inhibitive pigment. It is recommended for use in a wide variety of resin systems. HALOX® SZP-391 JM is equally effective in such resins as alkyds (both traditional and high solids), epoxies, latexes, water reducible alkyds, high acid value resins, catalyzed baking systems, and vinylidene chloride latexes. HALOX® CW-491 is a white, nonrefractive, heavy metal free corrosion inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. HALOX® CW-491 demonstrates versatility with a variety of solvent and water-borne resin systems.
HALOX® RC-980 is an organic additive designed to convert red rust to a black iron oxide. It can be used in slightly acidic waterborne vinyl or PVDC binders applied to rusted steel substrates. It converts the rust within minutes of the coating application and forms a black iron oxide barrier which can further be top-coated with water or solvent-based paints. It does not contain tannic acid, oxime chelates, phosphates or phosphoric acid.
HALOX® SW-111 is a white, nonrefractive, corrosion inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. HALOX® SW-111 is recommended for use in most water-borne and solvent-borne epoxies. HALOX® SW-111 can be formulated into most water reducible resin systems and corrosion resistant caulks and sealants.
HALOX® FLASH-X® 150 viene utilizzato nella produzione di rivestimenti protettivi a base d'acqua come efficace additivo liquido per l'inibizione della ruggine superficiale e della ruggine interna al barattolo. HALOX® XTAIN® L-44 è un additivo antimacchia liquido al tannino molto efficace che offre alte prestazioni e una buona compatibilità nella maggior parte dei sistemi di rivestimento a base d'acqua. Eccellenti proprietà antimacchia del tannino possono essere ottenute con HALOX® XTAIN® L-44 senza la necessità di ossido di zinco, necessario per ottenere le prestazioni della maggior parte dei polimeri bloccanti del tannino oggi sul mercato. Poiché HALOX® XTAIN® L-44 elimina la necessità di ossido di zinco senza sacrificare le prestazioni, di solito si ottiene un miglioramento della stabilità della confezione e della durata di conservazione del sistema di rivestimento.
