LANXESS Biocides: Advanced Microbial Protection for In-Can Preservation and Dry-Film Protection

PREVENTOL A 12-TK 50 is for the manufacture of aqueous and solvent formulations for preservation of wood composites, wood in above-ground and in-ground applications, leather, films, glues, adhesives, and metalworking fluids.

PREVENTOL® MP 100 Preservative is a high-purity fungicide containing approximately 98% 3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate (IPBC). This light yellow to white powder is particularly effective against blue-stain fungi and mold, making it suitable for preserving paints, stains, latex emulsions, metalworking fluids, paper coatings, plastics, textile coatings, inks, wood preservatives, adhesives, caulks, sealants, and building materials.

PREVENTOL P-100 Preservative is a versatile solution with a broad spectrum of action against various bacteria, including both Gram-positive and Gram-negative types. It finds application in preserving aqueous chemical-technical preparations and products such as surfactant solutions, polymer emulsions, polishes, and household items. Additionally, it serves in water treatment applications for cooling circuits, paper machinery, oil and gas recovery, and lithographic fluids. It can also be utilized as a raw material for liquid formulations and biocidal combinations, as well as a deodorant for kitty litter and chemical toilets.

​For industrial use as a preservative to inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungi in aqueous compositions (including pesticide formulations), polymer emulsions, fountain solutions, inks and photoplate processing, paper mill process water, recirculating cooling water systems, recirculating electrodesposition systems, commercial photoprocessing systems.

​Rozone™ 2000 Biocide is a liquid mildewcide for the protection of paint films and coatings. It is a high-performance preservative against the growth of surface molds which also displays excellent activity against algae and bacteria.

Rozone™ 2000 Biocide has a very low water solubility. It has a high resistance to leaching even on weathered surfaces and provides a long-term protection.

​Bioban™ O 45 Antimicorbial is a highly effective industrial fungicide recommended for coatings, latex and solvent based paints, semitransparent stains and solid stains, building materials including elastomeric roof and wall coatings, caulks, sealants, joint cements, spackling, stucco, and grout, wallpaper pastes and adhesives, aqueous adhesives and tackifiers, and leather.

Bioban™ O 45 Antimicrobial inhibits the growth of many fungi associated with odors, staining, discoloration, and general biodeteroriation. 

Bioban™ SP 100 Antimicrobial is a versatile agent containing 71.7% sodium o-phenyphenate, used to control fungi and bacteria in industrial applications and for postharvest preservation of pears and citrus fruits. It offers broad-spectrum efficacy against bacteria and fungi, excellent thermal stability, and can be incorporated into solid products like print thickeners and powdered glues. The product ensures even distribution of the active ingredient in the finished product for reliable antimicrobial effects.
