It is designed for use in solvent based general purpose or parquet adhesives, coatings and inks, melt extrusion systems such as automotive sound damping foils and as a B side carrier in polyester SMC manufacture.

LITHENE™ ULTRA N4-9000 is a viscous, narrow molecular weight liquid polybutadiene with a low content of 1,2 vinyl microstructure. It is characterized by extremely low odor and volatiles and is primarily used as a polyurethane additive to enhance abrasion resistance. Typical applications include automotive sound damping sealants and adhesives, as well as dry sand binders.
