Luna PTSI is used in the formulation of polyurethane products as a reactive additive with low viscosity. Luna PTSI prevents moisture related problems by reacting with trace moisture. Excess water reacts with Luna PTSI towards the corresponding carbamic acid, which undergoes immediate decomposition to form carbon dioxide and the relatively inert p- toluenesulfonamide, which is commonly used as a plasticizer. Luna-vin VYNS-3-W is a versatile copolymer, perfect for a wide range of applications. It is made from a blend of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, giving it excellent adhesive properties that make it ideal for use in adhesives, packaging, and wood finishes. It is also a great choice for use in general metals, inks, and marine and maintenance applications.
Luna-nol C-12 is an efficient, low-odour coalescent for all types of latex paints, particularly interior paints. It helps to enhance performance properties of the of the coating including low temperature coalescence, touch-up, and scrub resistance.
Luna-nol C-12 mixes easily into latex paints and does not affect the stability of the product. It also can be used as a retarder solvent in coil coatings and baking enamels, as well as in other applications such as printing inks, floor polishes and oil-drilling muds.
Luna-vin VMCC/A-W is a medium molecular weight carboxyl functional terpolymer comprised of vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and maleic acid. Luna-vin VMCC/A-W shows excellent adhesion to vinyls, metals, concrete and cellulosic substrates. Due to its low molecular weight, Luna-vin VMCC/A-W provides formulations with low viscosities and high solids.
