Luna PTSI

Luna PTSI is used in the formulation of polyurethane products as a reactive additive with low viscosity. Luna PTSI prevents moisture related problems by reacting with trace moisture. Excess water reacts with Luna PTSI towards the corresponding carbamic acid, which undergoes immediate decomposition to form carbon dioxide and the relatively inert p- toluenesulfonamide, which is commonly used as a plasticizer. Luna SI-ICPTES is an isocyanate functional silane. It is used for the functionalization of numerous compounds with active hydrogen atoms. Luna SI-ICPTES hydrolyzes in the presence of moisture to form silanols, which can react with themselves to produce siloxanes. Luna SI-ICPTES can be used as a crosslinker for one part moisture-curable urethane adhesives, sealants and coatings.
