SETATHANE D 1150 is applied in the formulation of tough-elastic coatings. It is used in combination with other polyols such as SETATHANE D 1145, 1155 and crosslinked with Desmodur® VL, SETATHANE D 1150 is suitable for use in the formulation of two-component coatings. These are mainly used on concrete and asphalt floors and steel surfaces. After crosslinking and curing of SETATHANE D 1150 with Desmodur VL, the resultant coatings are tough and flexible, hard-wearing and hemicalresistant. SETATHANE D E 2767 is applied in combination with aromatic polyisocyanates based on diphenylmethane diisocyanate as binder for solvent-free two-component polyurethane coatings with high chemical resistance for concrete and other porous substrates, fillers, sealing compounds and synthetic resin mortars. SETATHANE D E 2767 is suitable for the formulation of coatings, mortars and sealers with high chemical resistance. Coatings formulated with SETATHANE D E 2767 generally exhibit outstanding resistance to organic and inorganic acids, alkalis and solvents. Over-cross linking of 50 % and more is usual. This allows a wide-ranging variation in flow and chemical resistance. To ensure blister-free curing, SETATHANE D E 2767 requires the addition of hydrated lime in accordance with DIN EN 12 518 (or cement if necessary) as a CO2 scavenger. In certain cases where the film thickness is less than 100 μm, there is no need to add hydrated lime.

SETATHANE D E 2656 is applied in combination with Desmodur® VL as a binder for chemically resistant coatings. SETATHANE D E 2656 is suitable for the formulation of coatings and mortars with high chemical resistance for food and beverage industries. Coatings formulated with SETATHANE D E 2656 / Desmodur VL generally exhibit very good resistance to organic and inorganic acids, alkalis and solvents. Overcrosslinking of 500 % is usual. This optimizes chemical resistance and flow. To ensure blister-free curing, SETATHANE D E 2656 requires the addition of hydrated lime and/or cement as a CO2 scavenger.
