Beckocoat PU 428 has also proved an ideal vehicle for coating sports articles like spears, bowling pins, golf balls, bats, hockey sticks, tennis rackets, etc. In exterior use, Beckocoat PU 428 will lose gloss and will yellow. Weather resistance and gloss retention can be enhanced through coemploying alkyd resins like VIALKYD AR 408.

SETATHANE D 1160 is applied in combination with solvent-free, predominantly aromatic polyisocyanates, as a binder for flexible floor coatings. It is the most suitable co-reactant for SETATHANE D 1160 is Desmodur VH 20 N. Other polyisocyanates such as Desmodur VL are also suitable but the compatibility must be tested in each case. SETATHANE D 1160 can be used in the formulation of flexible floor coatings. Coatings based on SETATHANE D 1160 and Desmodur VH 20 N are characterized by their high flexibility and good mechanical strength.

SETATHANE D 1155 is applied in combination with e.g. SETATHANE D 1145 and 1150 in the formulation of coatings SETATHANE D 1155 is not recommended as a sole binder. Because of its low viscosity, SETATHANE D 1155 is especially suitable for combination with SETATHANE D 1145 and 1150 in the formulation of solventfree, self-leveling polyurethane coatings of low viscosity.
