Luna-fax BA7 NB is a calcium salt of linear alkylbenzenesulphonate, supplied as 70% in N-butanol. Typically used in the formulation of emulsifiable concentrates for agricultural applications, Luna-fax BA7 NB is also suited to industrial applications where high emulsification power is needed. When used in conjunction with a suitable nonionic emulsifier, Luna-fax BA7 NB produces excellent, spontaneously-blooming oil-in-water emulsions of a variety of solvents such as aromatics, ketones and alcohols. It has low water content and is easily pourable at room temperature.

Polyethylene Glycol PEG400 is non-toxic, odorless, neutral, non-volatile, and non-irritating as a solvent and cosolvent. PEG400 is widely compatible with various solvents and recommended as a formulation aid and chemical intermediate for use in cosmetic formulations, water soluble lubricants, mold release agents, antistatic agents, humectants, plasticizers, carriers for dyes, wood treatment, as co-solvent and solubilizing aid in detergent and agrochemical formulations and synthesis of esters. PEG400 shows good lubricity and is recommended as a component in lubricants for the textile and rubber industries. PEG400 reacts with fatty acids to form esters and dibasic acids to form polyester-based lubricants and may be used as an intermediate to form water dispersible resins for coating applications.

Luna-fax SS81 is a non-ionic surfactant produced by the esterification of sorbitol and oleic acid. It is an excellent low-HLB emulsifier, wetting agent, and dispersant used across industrial, and personal care applications. It provides good stability in formulations requiring water-in-oil (W/O) emulsification. Luna-fax SS81 is used in applications including lubricants, paints and coatings, emulsion explosives, agrochemicals and defoamer formulations.
