NUBIX V-8 is a ultramarine violet, pigment classified as C.I. Pigment Violet 15. Its composition includes violet sodium polysulfide aluminosilicate of the sodalite type.

COLORTREND® 888 Colorants are universal dispensable colorants designed to have broad compatibility in water-based and solvent-based paints, as well as other products listed below. COLORTREND® 888 universal machine colorants are specifically formulated for use in volumetric color dispensing machines for retail store and in-plant volumetric tinting. COLORTREND® Colorants have been thoroughly tested in a variety of commercial color dispensing machines and dispense with ease and accuracy. They are non-reactive with stainless steel and plastic materials used as component parts of these machines. Aluminum, aluminum alloy and bimetallic color machines should be avoided since they cause electrolytic corrosion and flocculation of the colorant.

CHROMA-CHEM® ED-5013 The ED Series colorants have been formulated for use in epoxy coatings. These colorants are formulated to limit the negative impact on the final epoxy coating. Therefore, the rheology of these colorants tends to be more viscous and is suitable for in-plant tinting.The ED Series pigment dispersions for epoxy applications consist of organic and inorganic pigments milled in a bisphenol A epoxy resin. The dispersing resin used in each colorant formulation was chosen to ensure broad compatibility in most epoxy coatings. In only a couple of cases, additives were needed to stabilize these colorants. Therefore, the coatings formulator can develop a coatings system that will not be negatively impacted when tinted with the ED Series colorants.

The UCD® PS Line colorants have been designed for use in polysiloxane-modified coatings. These products use a highly durable polysiloxane intermediate with closely controlled color strength and viscosity to permit reproducible color matches by volumetric machine dispensers or weight measurement in the plant. The UCD® PS colorants are a series of 100%-solids colorants for high-performance coatings. Each product in the line consists of a dry pigment milled in a low-molecular-weight methoxy-functional polysiloxane intermediate. These colorants are designed to be reacted with other silicone, alkyd, epoxy, polyester, and hydroxyl-functional resins to produce coatings with outstanding properties.
