VYLON SS-3300 is a co-polyester/amorphous resin primarily designed for can coating applications, both interior and exterior. It boasts excellent retort resistance and food acid resistance, along with good solubility and compatibility with other polyester materials. Additionally, it exhibits strong adhesion to aluminum and tin plate surfaces. Its constituent monomers conform to FDA§175.300 and EU No.10/2011 regulations, although some catalyst components are not listed in the positive lists of these regulations.

Properties The dispersing resin in the Spartacryl PM® Series is a nonfunctional acrylic polymer with a tightly controlled, low molecular weight. The molecular weight of the vehicle helps to ensure full development of pigment strength through its exceptional wetting properties while providing a rheological profile suited for in-plant tinting. PM acetate is used as the solvent because it is not toxic and does not react with cross-linking resins such as isocyanates. Only prime pigments are included in this line’s formulations; no extenders are present. Applications The Spartacryl PM® Series is formulated for use in most solvent-based industrial coatings including, but not limited to, concrete protection, general industrial, industrial maintenance, marine, plastic, and wood coatings. These colorants also perform well in decorative and special effect paints for sporting equipment.

STEPANPOL® PD-320 can be used in formulating urethane coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers. This product can exhibit good hydrolysis resistance, very good thermal stability and primary hydroxyl advantage. It may promote adhesion to a variety of metal and plastic substrates. This product has low viscosity for ease of blending and high aromatic content.
