SQAPH is a pharmaceutical-grade squalene. Squalene is widely used in numerous vaccine and drug delivery emulsions due to its stability-enhancing effects and biocompatibility. Emulsions containing squalene facilitate the solubilization, modified release, and cell uptake of drugs, adjuvants, and vaccines. It is a non-greasy moisturizing ingredient and skin protectant. Luna PTSI is used in the formulation of polyurethane products as a reactive additive with low viscosity. Luna PTSI prevents moisture related problems by reacting with trace moisture. Excess water reacts with Luna PTSI towards the corresponding carbamic acid, which undergoes immediate decomposition to form carbon dioxide and the relatively inert p- toluenesulfonamide, which is commonly used as a plasticizer.
