Epotec YD 128G is an unmodified liquid epoxy resin with medium viscosity produced from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. This is a standard liquid epoxy resin and a wide variety of curing agents are available to cure this liquid epoxy resin at ambient conditions and also at elevated temperature. When cured with appropriate hardener, Epotec YD 128G gives excellent mechanical, chemical, electrical and adhesion properties. Because of these properties it finds use in various applications.

Epotec YD 128G is produced from epichlorohydrin derived from the renewable bio-diesel by-product glycerine. Bio-content of Epotec YD 128G is 26% minimum.

EPOTEC RD 114LE 114LE is a diglycidyl ether of Neopentyl glycol. It is primarily used as a reactive diluent for high viscosity epoxy resins. EPOTEC RD 114LE is compatible in all concentrations with all classes of epoxy resins. Performance properties of system containing RD 114LE are maintained at higher level than is possible with mono-functional reactive diluents.

Epotec YDH 184 is diglycidyl ester of hexahydrophthalic anhydride. Due to the cyclic ring of hexahydrophthalic anhydride this resin is expected to give good resistance to ultraviolet light and weathering which is a limitation when it comes to standard bisphenol-A based epoxy resins. This also opens doors for cycloaliphatic epoxy resin epotec YDH 184 for use in outdoor coating applications where it is expected to give better non-yellowing characteristics and chalking resistance. The choice of curing agent also plays an important role in getting better performing formulations.

Epotec YDFM 253 is a blend of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A liquid epoxy resin, diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-F liquid epoxy resin and monofunctional reactive diluent. The blend greatly improves the crystallization resistance of this material as against the individual bisphenol-A or bisphenol-F based liquid epoxy resins. The reactive diluent in the blend helps in reducing the viscosity of the product so that it can be suitably formulated into high solids or even solvent free coatings and floor toppings. The reactive diluent in the blend also lowers surface tension of the product and increases pot life as well as flexibility of the system. This translates into better surface wetting, longer working time and improved toughness. Epotec YDFM 253 is compatible with all common epoxy resins in all ratios. All the common epoxy curing agents can be employed to cure epotec YDFM 253 based system.
