EASTMAN™ CP 347W

Chlorinated polyolefin 347W is a water dispersion of a chlorinated polyolefin. It contains 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol as the neutralizing amine. The 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol in CP 347W makes it more compatible with other waterborne resins and therefore more useful as an additive. CP 347W is compatible with many amine-neutralizable solution resins.

Eastman™ EB Acetate (Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether Acetate) is a high boiling glycol ether-ester. Its slow evaporation rate provides excellent flow and leveling in high-bake coatings as well as air-dry systems such as epoxy coatings. It has limited water miscibility. It is supplied as a urethane grade solvent.

BUTVAR B-79

Butvar® B-79 is a thermoplastic, polyvinyl butyral resin which offers a unique combination of properties for coating or adhesive applications. The use or addition of polyvinyl butyral to a system imparts adhesion, toughness, and flexibility. PVB retains the clarity of the coating and offers reactive hydroxyl sites for crosslinking with thermoset systems. The broad solubility range of Butvar® B-79 allows it to be formulated into many applications.

EASTMAN CP 377W

Chlorinated polyolefin 377W is a water dispersion of a chlorinated polyolefin that is formulated alkylphenol ethoxylate (APEO) free. It contains 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol as the neutralizing amine, which makes it more compatible with other waterborne resins and therefore more useful as an additive. CP 377W is compatible with many amineneutralizable solution resins.
