SYNTHALEN® W800 is an anionic acrylic copolymer supplied as a low viscosity o/w emulsion. Its water dispersions, when neutralized, are characterized by medium viscosity, high yield value and clarity in a large range of pHs and temperatures. In water, the polymer starts to swell at pH 6. In the presence of other components such as surfactants, the viscosity builds up at lower pHs. Its immediate dispersion, clarity, and good compatibility with surfactants make SYNTHALEN® W800 the ideal polymer for the formulation of surfactant systems, especially when a high suspending ability is required. POLYGEL CA is a versatile, synthetic polymer, benzene-free and widely used in the cosmetic industry as a thickener and suspending agent thanks to its safety and versatility. POLYGEL CA dispersions are characterized by high viscosity and clarity. Therefore, it is very suitable for formulating sparkling and clear gels as well as for stabilizing emulsions. The normal percentage of use is between 0.1% - 1.5% depending on the type of formulation and final desired viscosity. POLYGEL CA has been proven safe for human use by extensive toxicological testing. It has been shown not to be harmful to eyes or skin when applied topically at concentrations up to 100%. Due to its high molecular weight and low toxicity, it may be used with confidence in both cosmetic formulations and pharmaceutical products such as antiperspirants/deodorants, color care products (hair dyes), soap/bath products (laundry detergents), sun care products (sunscreens), skin care products (moisturizers) and oral care products (toothpaste).

SYNTHALEN ® M is a thickening agent. It is a synthetic polymer well known and widely used in the cosmetic industry as a thickener and suspending agent thanks to its safety and versatility. It is obtained through a proprietary manufacturing technique that makes it practically solvent free (complying with USP). SYNTHALEN ® M dispersions are characterized by low viscosity but a suspending ability higher than other carbomers—making it the polymer of choice for the stabilization of fluid emulsions and suspensions. UVASORB® ET is an effective UV-B sunscreen with an absorptivity of >1500 at 314 nm. In sun-care products, thanks to its high specific extinction, it is used in combination with other UV-filters to achieve a high SPF value. Concentrations up to 5% are recommended.
