TRM- 203 RHEOLOGY MODIFIER
TRM-203 is a synthetic Hydrophobically modified Alkali-Swellable anionic associative Emulsion thickener (HASE) designed for waterborne architectural, functional and paper coatings. TRM203 offers a base-activated high efficiency for KU and Brookfield viscosity, and is typically recommended for interior flat through sheen, satin paints. TRM-203 provides a low cost/high performance alternative to cellulosic thickeners. Not only is TRM203 lower in cost than most commonly used grades of cellulosic and modified HEC thickeners, it provides paints with outstanding roller spatter resistance and better film build and leveling in most formulations. TRM203 is an off-white, milky emulsion with a 30% solids and a low viscosity for easy pour and pump. TRM203 is easy to incorporate into the paint and is highly resistant to attack by microbes and their enzymes.
