With a solids content of 64 percent in water, it provides excellent processing convenience while ensuring sustainable and cost-efficient coating development.

Versatile and Reliable Performance
DOWSIL™ 52 Additive combines ease of use with strong technical performance. It is effective even at very low dosage levels, typically between 0.01 and 3.5 percent of the formulation, while maintaining essential properties such as water resistance, surface hardness, and mechanical stability. Its compatibility with acrylic, alkyd, polyester, epoxy, polyurethane, and vinyl resin systems allows formulators to achieve consistent performance across a wide range of coating applications. The additive is also recoatable, ensuring good intercoat adhesion and flexibility in multi-layer coating systems.

Thanks to its novel surfactant technology, DOWSIL™ 52 Additive delivers measurable improvements in coating performance.
