CALCIUM STEARATE

Lo stearato di calcio è utilizzato nei prodotti farmaceutici e nei prodotti per la cura personale come agente gelificante e antivirante. Inoltre, lo stearato di calcio funge spesso da agente distaccante per stampi per compresse (produzione di compresse). Viene utilizzato principalmente come lubrificante nella produzione di compresse e capsule a concentrazioni fino all'1,0% p/p. Sebbene abbia buone proprietà antiaderenti e lubrificanti, lo stearato di calcio ha scarse proprietà glidanti.
