ISOMALTULOSE POWDER

Isomaltulose, or 6-O-α-D-glucopyranose-D-fructose, is a crystalline-reducing disaccharide formed by the α-1,6 glycosidic bond of glucose and fructose. The molecular formula is C12H22O11•H2O. Isomaltulose crystals contain one molecule of water, orthorhombic crystals, and their appearance is similar to white sugar. It is a low GI sugar that does not cause a rapid increase in blood sugar and insulin levels, and it can provide the human body with more stable energy for a longer period of time.
