Tamarindus Indica Seed Gum
TAMAVISCO® S551 is the COSMOS approved grade within the TAMAVISCO® series, developed in response to the growing demand for natural and environmentally conscious cosmetic formulations. It is a 100% plant derived, multifunctional nonionic rheology modifier upcycled from tamarind seeds, a sustainable by product source. Its unique Newtonian flow provides a smooth and consistent thickness on the skin. In emulsion systems in particular, the fine emulsion particles created by TAMAVISCO® S551 deliver a luxuriously silky, creamy, and smooth texture to your formulations. Furthermore, through its synergy with polyols, it forms a delicate gel film that helps lock in moisture and provides long-lasting moisturizing benefits.
