TRANS-RESVERATROL (3,5,4'-trihydroxy-trans-stilbene) is a part of the stilbenoid group of polyphenols. It is characterized by two phenol rings linked by an ethylene bridge. This compound can be found in more than 70 plant species, including grapes, peanuts, blueberries, and cranberries.
